A bus ride from Ashbourne to Macclesfield
108
plus the historic ride onto Macclesfield

A bus from the Market town of Ashbourne at the South Westerm tip of the Pennines along the Western edge of the beautiful South West Pennines to Macclesfield.
This bus ride takes in 3 counties along its route starting in Derbyshire passing through Staffordshire and finishing in Cheshire.
This ride is a world away from the services operated by the big companies the bus is only a small one and the driver does not have a ticket machine all fares paid and passes shown are recorded by hand using clipboard paper and pen (as of June 2013)

However in September 2013 Clowes no longer run this service. I used it in September it was an Aimee's small coach but there was a ticket machine but still a world away from normal stage carriage

From spring 2014 this service only runs from Ashbourne to Leek

Route 108
Operater Aimees, Taxico
Journey time 1 Hour

This service is an infrequent day time Monday to Saturday service
