Roller coaster Flamingo land

Between Malton and Pickering the bus makes a short detour to the famous theme park Flamingo Land. In this shot if you look carefully a roller coaster can be seen across the fields.

Filingdales.

The bus passes Britains early warning station at Filingdales. This will warn us if the country is under attack. Until they were demolished this was the site of the famous but controversial golf balls.

Goathland station.

The bus takes a detour to a village made very famous by a extremely popular police drama set in the 1960's Heartbeat. In this shot the railway station can be seen. The station is on tbe preserved North Yorkshire Moor's Railway. Moors Railway.

Scrippes Garage in the fictional village of Aidensfield. This building is a gift shop and is only here because of the telly program.
